Due to the decisions made by the Belgian federal government regarding the pandemic, we regret to inform you that Serenata will not be able to take place in January.

Relive the refined glamour of the rococo age in the renowned historical center of Bruges, the “Venice of the North”.

Inspired by the mysteries of the Venetian Carnival, Serenata brings an evening of 18th-century frivolity framed with a multitude of cultivated activities.

Experience an initiation into historical dance, delight in the work of internationally renowned artists while enjoying the live baroque music, marvelous acts at the Belfry, the heart of the city of Bruges (Belgium).

Serenata takes place at the heart of the historic center of Bruges – right under the marvelous Belfry.

To ensure the authenticity of this historically inspired happening, we ask that all visitors wear a baroque or rococo (inspired) costume, complemented with a mask.

Dress code

Is the dress code obliged?

Yes, to ensure the authenticity of this historically inspired happening, Serenata has an obliged dress code of baroque and rococo (inspired) costumes and masks. Visitors wearing inappropriate attire will be refused entrance. Tickets are not refundable.

Where can I find a costume for Serenata?

Each visitor is responsible to rent, buy or make his/her own costume and mask. Creativity is greatly encouraged, but please do respect our dress code.

Costume shop Avothea, located in Ghent, is happy to help you find the right costume or mask to make sure you get to enjoy this evening to the fullest.

What does a standard ticket to Serenata include?

A standard ticket enables you to take part in the magic of Serenata, including all acts, dance initiations and free welcome drink. Please note that this ticket does not include a dinner or buffet.

What does a Deluxe ticket to Serenata include?

A Deluxe ticket enables you to take part in the magic of Serenata, including all acts, dance initiations, and free welcome drink. All guests with Deluxe tickets receive a luxurious invitation gift box send to the home address. With the Deluxe ticket, you also have a VIP entry to the venue with personal welcoming and several other benefits. Please note that this ticket does not include dinner or buffet.

Until when can I buy Standard tickets?

Standard tickets will be available until December 31st, 2021. After that, they will become Late Bird tickets priced at € 75.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

No, tickets for Serenata are only available in pre-sale.
